While the University of Alabama in Huntsville’s College of Engineering often makes the news for groundbreaking accomplishments, this time they made the news for an actual groundbreaking! A new engineering building at UAH is underway to support the needs of the growing college.
About the new engineering building
In April, community leaders, school officials and others gathered on-site to celebrate the new engineering building at UAH. The first phase of construction on the 80,000-square-foot facility is officially underway.
The future home to engineering students, faculty and staff will feature cutting-edge, modernized research and teaching facilities. The addition of the new building will support the efforts of the UAH College of Engineering, including advanced research, innovation and collaborative learning.
