Biscuit Belly in Huntsville celebrated its grand opening on Friday, March 10th. It’s been satisfying the Rocket City’s cravings for “authentic Southern flavor with flair” ever since!
Biscuit Belly was originally born and baked in Kentucky in 2019. Now, four years later, two Alabama locations are part of the growing Biscuit Belly family, which also includes stores in Kentucky, Indiana and Georgia.
The first Alabama location opened in Hoover in February, with the Huntsville location quickly following a few weeks later.
The menu
When it comes to the menu, Biscuit Belly in Huntsville gives visitors their fill of breakfast classics. Besides the homemade biscuits, there are biscuit sandwiches such as “The Rockwell Supreme,” featuring a buttermilk fried chicken breast topped with cheddar, goetta sausage gravy, an over-easy egg and bacon.
If you prefer breakfast with a kick, check out the “Fire in Your Belly” biscuit. It comes with a buttermilk fried chicken breast, Nashville hot mayo, pickles and cheddar cheese. There are also parfaits, pancakes and biscuits and gravy, for example.
What goes with breakfast fare? Coffee and cocktails, of course! The drink menu features Biscuit Belly’s exclusive “Belly Blend” as well as cold brew, lattes, mochas and cappuccinos. Once again, if you are looking for an extra kick, try a Kentucky coffee with bourbon or sip a classic mimosa.
