Joe Davis Stadium renovations may seem like they are taking longer than expected. But reports indicate city officials say the rebuild is progressing as planned. Currently, the renovations are in the demolition phase.
Next up, the construction phase. This is where the bulk of Joe Davis Stadium renovations will take shape. Key features fans have to look forward to include new seating, new lighting, improved audio-visual experiences, new restrooms and new concessions.
There will also be field level boxes along with terraced north-side seating. The field will be covered with a flexible, durable turf designed for maximum use.
In the end, “The Joe” will be a modern state-of-the-art multi-use facility. Think tons of sporting events, community events and more!
The field will be used for high school football, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer and city sports as well. The new and improved stadium is expected to seat anywhere from 6,600 to 10,000, depending on the event.
The projected completion date for the stadium renovations is the spring of 2023.

Joe Davis Stadium is located at 3125 Leeman Ferry Road Southwest. That’s about seven miles from Summer Place.
